Create outfits

We make decisions in various ways about what to wear. When one piece fits a situation and your mood on the day, it feels like a no-brainer. But often, you need to create an outfit with more pieces. How often have you found yourself stuck with the same 'old favourites' or the same combinations of what you own? Sooner-or-later, you get bored. With your DW, you can play more and create other unexpected outfits to get out of that rut. What about trying that white blouse with culottes when you visit your mum and not just with your formal trousers. You like those navy trousers, the fabric is good quality, but can you uplift them with a new coloured top that you haven’t tried previously? You need to remind yourself of what works around your face. You can create Outfits for the day - and for future reference; so, once composed digitally, you save them in your personal 'changing room'. What's not to look forward to?

Sort your style

You have a primary and, very likely, a secondary style; this has evolved over the years. Your personality, life experiences, lifestyle, and work type determine your image and what you wear. Whether you work from home, in a classroom or boardroom, your style should communicate YOU.   

The Digital Wardrobe has 'rooms' for twenty different Style Types from Formal, through Chic, to Vintage and Boho. They are summarised into four Style Groups: Classic, Natural, Dramatic and Feminine for ease of understanding, play, and decision making. With the Digital Wardrobe, you can determine your current style objectively and choose what next.

Create capsules

The world is your … capsule, and with the Digital Wardrobe, you can create those you really want. Think of your trip to Turkey or your fun weekend with the family, the dream seaside holiday or the forthcoming conference. You can (digitally) pack your capsule(s) and keep them dynamic without rummaging through your wardrobe every time! Just think how helpful it would be to have saved a record (your ‘ski capsule’) for your next winter holiday!

Create a diary

You may be a fan of diaries, so why not do the same for what you wear? This would help you recognise just how you match you already have for what you need; it would also make it easy to calculate the cost per wear for any of your garments. Your Digital Wardrobe can remind you of how good you have been about using what you already possess - but also, for when the time comes to go shopping, to fill in gaps in your wardrobe. Very importantly, your DW allows you to capture how you feel when you wear certain outfits and what you were doing on the day, or at 'that event’.

Plan ahead

You can plan ahead e.g. for that special meeting, or simply to refresh your image.

Part of the fun with what we wear is showing our outfits to others, sharing their use or, perhaps, gifting them. Imagine sending a friend a photograph of one of your favourites which no longer fits. 

It's hard saying ‘good-bye’, but when there are women out there getting ready for their first job interview, this may just be exactly the sort of thing you would like to do. So, take that photo and provide a description in the Digital Wardrobe whenever you want to share, rent-out or gift an item!

If you are curious about what your clothes say about you, then take a look. What is your dominant colour? Are you a dress, a skirt or trousers person? How many pieces do you actually have – and how many have you worn recently? A favourite fabric? You can curate what you wear in the same way curators look after their art collections. Most of all, you will optimise your wardrobe with a new sense of purpose, be more creative, and save time and money in the process.

Numbers and images say more than a thousand words. See what they say about your style preference and also count towards how sustainable you are. The Digital Wardrobe informs you how caring you are for the environment with every garment you wear. It will be easy to then see how you can improve.
